What Is A Soil & Water Conservation District? Conservation District – (n) 1: your source for locally driven solutions to
natural resource conservation. 2: a local entity that helps local people,
landowners and communities conserve land, water, forests, wildlife and
related natural resources. 3: one of 3000 entities across the country
(almost one in every county) governed by citizen volunteers. Variations: (a) Soil and Water Conservation
District; (b) Resource Conservation Districts; (c) Natural Resources

Our To provide information
about soil, water and related natural resource conservation; identify and
prioritize local soil and water resource concerns; and connect land users to
sources of education, technical and financial assistance to implement
conservation practices and technologies.
